Hi all
Any advice greatly appreciated…
Also hope this is the right section to post this thread?!
The boys are now outside in the day - crikey it’s hot!
I thought I’d created a great environment for them until yesterday when I saw lots of flies !
I’ve made some fleece fly screens, made sure the hides are super cleaned & bought (against my better judgment) some fly tape!
The fly tape, so far, IS NOT working.
Any tips or tricks greatly appreciated.
I’ve attached a pic of the set up.
The boys were hiding!

Thanks in advance.
Cala,
Tuna & Sweetcorn

When I was considering getting rabbits, my plan was to line the outside of their enclosure with that insect door/window mesh that comes in a roll. You can cut it to your desired shape/size and attach it with velcro. It might be a little harder to see the piggies through the mesh, but you can always remove it in the months where the bugs aren't too bad.

Good idea @h.h.lovecraft !
@Cala Have a look in B&M for that cheap magnetic door-sized fly-screen. I use it on my back door - usually 3 or 4 quid and the middle clicks shut each time you push through (if you hang it right) because of the magnets. It could be a low-cost way of seeing if this system works for you? It works for us as pigs are just inside the back door. They've got some screening in our Lidl too at the minute but i think it's a bit more expensive.
