Hi! So currently my two piggies are using wood shavings until we can afford to buy a few fleece liners, but I've read a couple bits of people not just putting the shavings into the outside bin... Which is what I usually do.
Are there any other options? I'm running out of bin space this week and thought maybe there's an alternative?
I don't have any grass or soil in the garden at all either, so couldn't be used on there like I've seen people do?

I'm starting to think the bin is my only option now while I'm typing this😂

I personally buy small bin bags and keep them in the piggy room till they are full.

Afraid the general waste bin is probably the best place for them. When I used shavings, most went in the bin. I couldn't put more than a few handfuls on my compost heap as it would unbalance the mix unless mixed with a lit of grass. My council doesn't really like soiled animal bedding in the bin so I used to bag it separately (naughty me).

Bag it up and put the excess into the next household waste collection or add to the garden refuse if your council permits (ours thankfully does).
