Poor little chap, but I think you have made the right decision under very difficult circumstances.

thankyou for all the kind words.we had a very spcial day today and he spent most of it in the sun.I had to ask my work mate to take him in for me tomorrow as i just could not bring myself to take him.I hope he will understand :(

I completely understand and I'm sure he will too. You have made the right decision for him and it's great that you have your work colleague to support you. If any of my piggies had to be pts sleep I definately wouldn't be able to take them myself and would probably ask my mum. You shouldn't feel bad for not going yourself and it is a very difficult situation to be in.

I think you've made the right desicion too, and I completely support you x

thinking of and him
it was always going to be a difficult choice but i'm sure know best
may he go to sleep a happy squeakypig

aw Jess, i think you have made the best decision for him and he will know that.

Thinking of him and you. Sending lots of hugs x

Hi, I have just caught up with this thread.

I am so sorry that you have had to make this decision, but well done to you for looking after him and caring so much for him.
It is always a very hard choice to make when considering whether to let an animal pass peacefully over Rainbow Bridge, or try to prolong their life.

I always go with my gut feeling, the quality of life that I feel they are having, or the pain and risks involved if they go through surgery.

Hugs go to you and him for tomorrow xx

I'm so sorry for your loss honey. I wish your guinea pig to RIP and watch over you.

I hope you run free now gorgeous, make new friends and eat from that lovely big vegetable plot at rainbowbridge.

You've made the right decision, my thoughts are with you, your piggy and your family.

All our love from Claire, Pheobe, Ruby, Bethany and Maggie-May xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I'm so sorry Jess, you made the right decision.

RIP little piggie, run free xx

Sending you lots of hugs x
