My two little babys are doing great...they love their hay, fussy with their dry food...love their carrot...dont like ant other veg much at the mo..is it because of their age do you think? they graze on the grass in the day..but I just cant get them to eat different veg yet...I thought perhaps because their only babys still..What do you think? Lin
ps. What kind of dry food do you recommend, becaues iv tried two sorts and they just pick out the best bits and leave the rest..??/

I feed our babies on Wagg Optimum as its nice small pellets for them to eat.
They should be accepting a wide range of fruit/veg now especially if its been offered from when they were born. Keep perservering giving them small amounts of various stuff and they should learn its to eat

:)

Make sure that your youngsters do drink. If necessary, offer them both bottle and bowl (even though you will probably end up cleaning out the bowl twice a day!)

Keep the youngsters' pellet bowl topped up until they are about 6 months old and reduce slowly to an adult handful or half handful.

Persevere with serving a variety of veg and fruit, but never introduce more than one new veg or fruit at the time. They will eventually catch on!

Lots of hay! If you want, you can buy one bag of alfalfa and mix it in with the normal hay to tidy them over at first. Alfalfa is very high in calcium and should only be given to pregnant and nursing sows and very young pups. But with plenty of good quality pellets, they can get their calcium from there.

Hi Lin,
My 8 week old boys love the Sciene selective food, and so far I've not read a bad review about it!
Hope they start enjoying some more of that fresh stuff
