Can someone give me a definitive DO and DO NOT feed list?
I have my new boy arriving Friday. I plan to steal a tupperware of his current food from his owner, then slowly wean him onto something else if necessary (not sure what yet - you can give me tips on that too if you like! My pigs back home with my family are on pellets, I think Excel...).
Green wise and food wise how much should I be giving him? I know pigs cope better with greens than rabbits do..?
Ive also heard lettuce is a no-no.
So if you could give me a run down of tempting treats I can give him to help him settle in, and how much green / treats / food he should be getting, that would be great. Thanks!
I already know to avoid dairy treats and just go for the more natural herb / veg / fruit treats.
He's a small 6 month old boar.
