Our 3 girls are 8 and 6 months old. My kids really want them to have stocking for christmas. I am fine with this, but wondered if anyone had any guinea pig safe treats/ideas of what to put in them. I know a lot of the "treats" on the market are not great for them so was not sure which ones would be good.

For our piggies stockings we put things such as hay cookies or dried forage. Like you say, a lot of things marketed for piggies are not good for them.....even some of the pet shop forage mixes have alfalfa in, which they should not eat. Also to look out for with pet shop treats/snacks, is quite a lot of them have seeds or nuts, which piggies should not have either. For their actual Christmas present, we usually get our piggies something to snuggle in, such as a cuddle cup, which they really love! They are just so adorable, and do love to be spoilt, and get very excited about their stockings and pressies!
Hope your girls and your family have a lovely "pigmus"! 🎄

You could make ‘crackers’ with toilet roll tubes and stuff with hay and a pea flake or two, dried forage ,
The Haypigs nomnom cookies are great add one or two ,
A mini haybale( hay cookies) is a fun thing to chew on
Apple tree sticks
Dried dandelion root
I’m sure your piggies will love whatever you and your children provide 🥬🫑🥦
Happy Christmas/Pigmas 🎄

As a general rule of thumb any of the Oxbow brand treats(as far as I’ve seen so far) are an extremely safe option for treats and toys. They also have some fun ones shaped like lollipops or other treats that would be perfect for a stocking! They do tend to cost a little more than the low quality store brand toys but I find it 100% worth it for the peace of mind alone that comes with oxbow. I actually just put my boys stocking up too :)

This is such a cute idea! We don't do piggy stockings per se, but we do fill paper shopping bags with botanical hay and forage - the piggies love to sit in them and munch during floor time.
We tried this, but our piggies kind of fought in them. I think having three pigs in such a tiny space. There was some turf for even though they are girls.
