What veggies have your pigs had today? :)

Just thought this could be a fun thread :D

This morning they just had some carrot which my mum gave them because I was busy cage building!

This evening they have had cabbage, cauliflower leaves, cauliflower, melon, celery and pepper ;) (to make up for the fact they didn't have much this morning :D)

They've also of course had hay & pellets all day :)

This moning : Carrot, Pear and Swede
This evening: Cherry tomato, Yellow pepper and Orange

Also had some clover this afternoon and has had his Nuggets and hay avaliable all day.

This morning mine had Celery, cucumber and green pepper.

Around 5ish they had Celery, cucumber, romaine lettuce and pear.

I don't usually give them the same portions per day but I managed to get loads of cucumber from Netto for 24p and celery for Aldi for 22p so I got loads and need to get rid of it. :)

Last night they had: handful of curly kale, a baby carrot each and a romaine lettuce leaf each.

This morning they had: a stick of celery each, a piece of brocoli each, a large handful of spring greens and some chopped cucumber.

Tonight they are having: romaine lettuce each, some kiwi, handful of curly kale

and Bob attempted to eat my bodywarmer ;D
 
Today they Rodney and Violet had:
Cucumber, Celery, Apple, Carrot, Kale, Parsley and Green Beans. :)

None today but melon, peas in pod, apple, grapes, pear, banana, tomato, cucumber, sweetcorn, peas and that all mixed together the other day :D
 
For dinner mine will be having corn on the cob (first time they've have it, hope they will like it :P), courgette and carrot (including leaves)..for tea they'll probably be having kale, cucumber and and pepper.
 
Today the pigs have had spring greens, cucumber and cauliflower :)
 
Hmmm...

Mine have had cucumber (they squabbled over it for a bit, so I had to give them another piece so they could have one each!) and also some carrot.

My 13 day old boy has had
Brocolli
cucumber
carrot
apple

Timothy Hay, Gerty Mix and beaphar carrot drink and also plain water.
As he does not have a mum I am his new mummy and I am hand feeding him.
If anybody has any advice please get intouch, I have not had pigs since the late 70's but I am fostering this little boy and I think I will keep him myself as he has attached himself to me.
 
Mine have had curly kale, broccali, spring greens, carrot, celery, pepper, cucumber and honey dew melon :)
 
okay this evening they have had kale, cucumber and this lettuce mix thing (it has carrot in there too..they don't get this often and it's only as a treat ;)) they still have corn left from dinner too :D
 
Mine have had carrot, cucumber, celery, green pepper, beetroot, romaine, baby sweetcorn & corriander
 
All the girls have been on the lawn and had sweetcorn. The boys and babies had corn and romaine.
 
This morning my four girls had - carrots, broccoli, corn on the cob, pellets and hay and this evening they had few more carrots and some green peppers.They eat for Wales! :D
 
Mine have had apple, melon, carrot, broccoli, celery, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red pepper & a bag of mixed lettuce leaves
 
mine havent had much of a selection today as this evening was shopping day, so in the morning they had a huge stack of cucumber slices.

this evening they have had half a corn on the cob with leaves, and as a treat later, they will be getting a bit of corriander and parsley, and maybe a few slices of carrot to keep them happy
 
I s there any fruit and veg pig shouldn't eat?

I tend to keep mine to:

Greens
celery
corn on the cob
apple
red/green peppers
carrot
brocholi

i think it says on the shopping list what foods are good and bad for piggies?

today mine had:

brocolli
cauliflower
baby corn
carrot
 
For breakfast they have had cabbage, pepper, cucumber, carrot, celery, lettuce and brocolli.
 
Supper last night Honkey had celery, white cabbage, red cabbage, small bit of watermelon.

For breakfast he has had endive lettuce, carrot, small amount of red pepper and white cabbage.

Supper tonight he will have a small amount of pear, celery, endive lettuce and white cabbage.

I never give mine curly leaf because its very high in calcuim. I occasionlly give them flat leaf parsley
 
I have just put some pieces of strawberry in their run. They are asleep in their box at the moment so haven't found them. It is OK to leave the little green stalk on strawberries isn't it? :-\
