If you adopted our guinea pig could you please send what the process was like

It depends on the rescue really, if you’re interested I’d suggest emailing the rescue to find out what their process/requirements are.
I’ve only ever adopted when I have already had existing piggies and as I understand it the process was sort of fast tracked for me since I had experience. But generally they want a picture of your setup including measurements, I’ve been asked about working hours, who will look after them while I’m away, how many adults annd children in the house etc. The rescues have also offered for me to come and ‘meet the pigs’ prior to adopting them, but this is also more of a the rescue meeting you and seeing how you’re interacting with the pigs as well.
In terms of the full process I enquired, then went to meet the piggies, then about a week later I filled out some forms and collected them.

I adopted two girls just before lockdown at my local rescue in Cornwall. I had emailed first and filled in an adoption form. It had details of cages sizes and if I could offer run time/garden run etc other pets and children. I then sent photos and they knew I already had two old boys, one was now bereaved and neutered looking for a girlie companion. I was invited over to look around the rescue, chat and see the piggies. My OH chose Posh and Ginger who were then health checked over and came home with us. It was all very friendly and easy. I have been a supporter ever since, I was so impressed with their care and commitment to help these little beings

I've emailed the rescue and hopefully they write back. Thanks for letting me know about the process

Good luck! I’m sure you will have some piggies soon. All rescues are different, sometimes it can take longer than you expect because most rescues are tun by mainly volunteers who have work and families so don’t feel disheartened if you don’t hear immediately 😃

Rescues all do things differently so it will depend on which rescue you choose. In my experience everyone at rescues has always been very helpful and friendly even on the occasions when they couldn't help with my particular need. As you will be adopting a ready made pair and you have done masses of research into piggies and what they require I can't see you having a problem.
Good luck
