I am wondering how other peoples guinea pigs entertain them (without the piggies ever knowing!) ?/

I have 5 boys & I am constantly smiling or laughing at them (except when we seem to be having surges of hormones! Then it's a very different matter!) -c

I got my new babies, Billy (7 wks) & Bobby (9wks) nearly a week ago. They are rescue pigs & have had a rough start to life. However, they are settling in & even seem to be coping with the crazy guinea-loving dog! x)x)

So 2 days ago I was having a cuddle with them both - which we all enjoyed., Then, I put them on my lap as I sat in my office chair. Firstly Bobby decided to reverse to the edge of my lap, stick him bum over the edge of my leg & pee all over me & the floor! A couple of minutes later Billy did exactly the same on the opposite side! However, his aim was 'better' & he managed to pee all over my leg & into my slipper! It's amazing how much pee a little piggy can produce! :(|):(|):(|)

aww, they are such characters, i suspect they feel very comfortable with you!

all five of my piggies give me such joy, but they also crack me up. maggie-may and ruby will select the veggie they wish to devour, then hold it by the edge and stick their heads right of and totter off with it, then bethany tries to get it from their mouths! so cute! sonny just cracks me up with his crazy expressions and pheobe's just pheobe, so adorable and cute

Bradders popcorned and hit his head on his shelf made me chuckle lol but he didnt hurt himself he just looked at it more to say who put that there. lol:))

It was actually just this morning - I was sitting in the livingroom and could hear them chasing each other round and round the cage. The noise they were making was almost as though they were giggling at the same as doing it.

This evening the babies Bobby & Billy has a tug-of-war over a piece of cucumber! Not surprisingly Bobby (the smaller pig by nearly 200g) won! (I say not surprisingly, as smaller piggies always seem to win these kind of arguments!)

Bobby then sat on my shoulder for about 15 minutes, watching & checking out his new home!

just finished bathing Parsley and was cuddling him when he wee'd straight down my chest, had to laugh he was getting his own back.

Went outside to feed Honey and she was wheeking at the top of her lungs - bless her. Like 'GET ME FOOD.....NOW!'

I was just winding her up and making her wheek for it :)

Little Tait found he could jump on the ledge yesterday & then onto the shelf in the cage, he spent the next 20 mins jumping up, then down, running round & popcorning followed by "Uncle" Haggis - i was thoroughly entertained x)

The other night Toddie grabbed a chunk of cucumber & literally lobbed it to the other side of his C & C before running after it & diving on it - i've not a clue what the cucumber's crime was :)) :))

I was cleaning the boy's cage when they both jumped on my knee & popcorned together - they were going mad :)):))

Kukuru sitting on top of the food dish made me laugh, she just looked so cute sitting there, needless to say the other 3 couldn't get to the food :))

Finlay is not very spatially aware so he often knocks his head when he popcorns and looks all dazed for a few seconds afterwards. Bertie sometime tries to get the bark off the roof of the log cabin, but as he's too old to jump on it, he just stands on his back paws and pulls at the roof like there's no tomorrow and like he's .... humping the house.... A classic!rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes never fails to give me the chuckles....
sorry no other word would describe it as well as this:p

probably the two of them running around chasing one another when one gets bored of being chased he turns around and chases the other :)) I don't think that the have learn't if neither runs off then they don't need to be chased!

mine always crack me up, whether they are chasing each other around everywhere, or they 'rearrange the furniture' and they often place their pigloos across from each other with a bit of distance between them, and then at the same time, they charge out and into the others pigloo, it's so funny. I also noticed something the other day that amused me, I was getting a small plastic bag out to cover something and every time the bag 'rustled' I could hear like a jumping noise, so went to investigate and turns out everytime the bag rustled, Socks did a massive jump lol :)) I must admit I did it a few times just to see her jump like that, haha it was like excessive popcorning - they always do little things that crack us up

My little Toddy, who gets spoilt to death because he is on his own at the mo. I bought him a snuggly thing (the same as in Becky P's Avatar) He didn't know what to make of it and just poked his nose in for about 5 days. I have kept putting him in and he has jumped out. This morning I put him in again and stroked him for ages. He has fell asleep in there now. Awww, this was a cute sort of laugh. xx

was doing the daily hoover of the cage today and biscuit was popcorning like mad chasing the hoover nozzle! popcorning always makes me laugh even if I'm down in the dumps! its soo funny!

Paddy loves eating shoelaces so when he's out I move any shoes onto the stairs out of the way- tonight he learned to climb stairs and is looking at me like a guilty teenager with a black lace hanging out of his mouth.

Roger is much better after I got his medicine into him and has got his appetite back, he's now got the endearing habit of rushing me when I open the cage to feed them and dashes up my arm and gives me a nibble on the ear to hurry me up, Blessx)

I made the boys a little 'mini-house' out of a shoe box. They love it, play with it, sleep in it ... you name it.

This morning, Angel (the biggest) want inside and I rustled a bag as I put my shopping away and I heard a bang. Looked into the cage to see the actual shoe box jumping up and down :)) bless, they're so funny.

well the last time i sat and nearly wet myself laughing was when i gave lu her first cherry tomatoe. she tried to bit it and it just kept spinning.
after a few attempts she took the forcefull approach and stucke her head in it and ended up covered in tom juice!
i was laughing my head off and she just looked at me all pathetic and covered in her breakfast! x
