Ours are getting the occasional Brussel sprout and its only October... :))

All i know is i’ll buy them too much, feed them too much and generally spoil them all with the excuse of Christmas! x) My favourite time of year as it’s also my birthday on christmas day so theres twice as much to look forward too! drool

I want to get mine those rather expensive Oxbow Timothy Club grass hideys - a tunnel or "bungalow", as I believe one is called! My husband thinks it is a waste of money because "they'll just eat it", but that's the whole point, isn't it! It will give them hours of fun and pleasure - I love spoiling my piggies, and Christmas is an extra good excuse!:)

I want to get squeak some of the supreme stickles and some burgess dandelion rolls! I'm always naughty though and give the presents to her way before Christmas because I can't wait haha :))

I always get a parsley bell for mine. They really like it and it is a good treat, slightly healthier than some of the others. It is also fun to start growing grass in a tray at the start of Nov - it grows slower in the winter - as this is the ultimate Christmas day menu item!

Mine are always spoilt - but Nuggets is my lone boar and he is on the waiting list for a spayed wifepig from Rugby rabbit and guinea pig welfare - it might well be after Christmas though,as I remember picking up Bumbles wifepigs Honey and Bea in the new year from Tracy 2 years ago.

They will probably get a paper bag each and maybe some posh hay/herb noms. My guys will probably be in boarding over Christmas so I know they will get spoilt rotten even if I am not there.

I'm the same way! I'll probably end up buying them a whole bunch of stuff they'll never use and spoil them with all kinds of special veggies :)

That's a SPLENDID idea! thanks for the post!

Of course I will buy my babies something! Can't be leaving them all out now, can we? ;)
I normally get my hands on some shop-bought treats (I don't buy normally because of the high sugar and fat content, but... its christmas!) and also some new toys.

Its going to be extra expensive this year. Last year it was 3 rabbits and a guinea pig.
This year its 2 rabbits, 3 guinea pigs and 2 rats!

My purse is going to be so horribly empty!

I like to give them a little Christmas dinner when we are having ours. They get a bit of veg kept aside before cooking, a cherry tomato, lettuce , cucumber and I attempt to pick them a sprinkling of grass as a treat ( which is a near impossible task in winter !) their "sweet" is a grape and sliced apple drool

Ours will each get a card and a little piggie stocking full of goodies! :)

Oscars getting a cuddle cup and fleece tunnel, and Rubix is getting a hammock and paper tunnels, he goes threw tunnels in days !

Oo what is a cuddle cup? and can you really get hammocks for guineas to use? Ive been wondering what to get my girls for Christmas and am loving the ideas here :)

A selection of nice hay and maybe some cozies for the skinnies.

My boys' Xmas pressies arrived today from the UK. A 1metre x 1 metre cage, 2 fleece hidey houses in pale blue with white polka dots, and 2 litter trays. I use the litter trays as hay trays - the boys love them as they can get right inside to eat the hay. But I only have the one set and no wash day spares. Could not find any more here in the right size so bought from the UK.

I haven't thought about Christmas presents yet...
I want to get them some fleece blankets to snuggle in
Treats of course! And said to the OH about Brussel sprouts he said: they'll be popcorning and farting hahahaha!

My piggies have some pick and mix sweets (for guinea pigs) and a snuggle safe heat pad (which they may get early). They will also get roast vegetables e.g. carrots, Brussels etc :)
