What wont your Guineas Eat?

Yuk!

Mine won't eat peppers! I've tried different colours at different times, and they just won't have it!

Not complaining though- I don't like it either!
 
ok i will do it in pairs

Smokey & Bandit-wont eat corn kernals,brocolli,snow peas,tomato,cauliflour

Basil & Ralph-Saffron-wont eat tomato,snowpeas,cauliflour

Zanzabar & Baker-wont eat celery,cauliflour

Cooper-Beau & Windsor-Duke-wont eat cauliflour,baby corn,yellow peppers

ooo mine are a fussy lot!

they dont eat peppers, cauliflower, tomato, apple...thats to name a few!

they have their favourite though! sometimes when i put food in their cage they sniff it, look up and me as to say "is that it mummy?" cheeky pigs!
 
mine have phases of being fussy...

at the mo it's their excel food!

also strawberries - they have decided to eat the green stem and leave the strawberry, much to nicks disgust as he loves strawberries :)

they also have a permenant dislike of couliflour.

and they use to dislike sweetcorn til they went to auntie lindsays, and decided to make me out a fibber (don't you love it when they do that? this was also when they decided they didnt like excel anymore...think they saw jim and joe on the wagg and thought "we will have some of that instead")
 
Mine change their minds every few weeks.

At present Noggin won't eat the following: broccoli, sweetcorn, peppers (any colour), carrots (but will eat carrot tops), apple, strawberries....it's probably easier to list what he will eat - celery, cucumber, cauliflower and banana.
Brillo is less fussy, but won't eat peppers, sweetcorn or strawberries.
 
Peppers, courgettes, tomatoes.... can't think what else, but I'm sure there are more. It's always funny when they get something they don't like, as Cassie will usually valiantly try to eat it with a disgusted expression on her face, and the other two will run away from it! :))

i did not think of bread but as i have a bird feeder near the run a bit of bread fell in wnad Bridge did have a nibble

Mine used to be really picky but now they literally eat anything i put in front of them, don't know why that happened but i'm not complaining! xx
 
Courgette and parsnip aren't favs here! Also Corn on the cob is another! I dont like corn either so I don't blame them! :(|)
 
what would they live on in the wild?

would i be right thinking they are ground dwellers from south america

so generally things they would come across ?

tacco's, borritos, cactus, dorritos?
 
So far jive and tango have turned their noses up only at any colour of bell pepper.
 
Mine havent tried much...but they dont like Banana or tomato or celery
faves are sweet potatoe & carrots...but i know they shouldnt have a great deal....so those are 'special treats' on occasion.
Am going to try cucumber/strawberries/corn on the cob as my next options
 
My greedy boys eat almost everything!

One of them doesn't like Coriander, and the other doesn't like Banana.. The both aren't keen on Strawberries, but everything else goes down a treat :D
 
Mine are really fussy.

They like and dislike stuff on different weeks.

One week they might love spinach and the next week they'll avoid it.
They mainly do this with carrot, broccoli and Lettuce.

One week they'll like one and dislike the others and the next week they'll like another one and hate the previous one.

It makes shopping for them very difficult!
I have to buy EVERYTHING they like, every week. :))
My current veggie bill totals about £12 a week because I never know what they'll want!
They're such little Gremlins~
 
Mine are all different - some will eat anything others don't like tomatoes but one loves tomatoes but won't touch apple or broccoli. Not many of them are over-keen on banana :))
 
UNUSUAL and annoying...

Mine won't eat carrots at all, even if it's the ONLY thing available to him all day. mallethead

Also snubs his nuggets/pellets unless very very very hungry.

Should I be concerned?
 
Mine won't eat green pepper (but they like red), swede, courgettes, and they aren't very keen on green beans either. Other than that they eat pretty much everything!
 
Mine won't touch banana ,beetroot,celery,sweetcorn(except husks) or cabbage.They love Romaine lettuce,cauliflower greens,dandelions,strawberries,blueberries,carrots,parsnips,tomatoes,parsley,coriander,basil,chicory,melon,apple,pear,cucumber,and any colour of peppers.(but not all at once).
 
My piggies won't eat parsley, broccoli or zucchini. They will only eat carrots when they are cut up into little pieces! And they aren't fond of apples.

They LOVE kale and spinach. I keep trying new things with them as I want to give them a varied diet, but they turn their nose up at nearly everything unless it's accompanied by kale or spinach!
