Hi guys, I know I've read this before on here, but can't find it at all. :red And a google search didn't help much either . . .
But anyway, my friend wants to give her piggies some wood to nibble on, and I said I'd try to find out what kinds of wood are safe. I did say fruit wood would be fine so she might be getting some apple branches.
Are plum tree branches fine too? She said her friend has a plum tree.
But I think I read someone on here saying most wood is fine as long as it's not treated, just for them to gnaw on, not to eat a lot of! Is that true, and is there anything she should definitely avoid?
I didn't know the answers myself cos I have outdoor pigs who just gnaw on their hutch!
Thanks
