What would you do (guinea pigs on buy/sell facebook page)

I'm not going to link to the page in question, but I'm just having a bit of a rant.

I joined the page looking to sell a few things a few days ago. In the three/four days I've been a member, I've seen FIVE guinea pigs up as free to good home pigs. There are no rescues around here, so I can't suggest to these people to take their pigs to a rescue, and I can't think about what could happen to them all.

I don't have the space for more pigs at the moment, definitely not permanently and I know I'm just upsetting myself seeing the ads and wanting to do something... I don't know if there's anything I can do.

One of the reasons I want to set up a small guinea pig rescue... they're just seen as throwaway pets and that really ticks me off.

Aw that's terrible. Poor little pigs. Don't know what to suggest though

How far are the nearest rescues? maybe you could set up a piggy train in bulk? If it's really nagging at you that much :/ But I guess the ads will always keep coming Sorry I can't suggest anything better.
