My tucker has major teeth issues and has no bottom teeth at all and I have to get his top teeth cut back every 2/3 weeks. Now I don't mind paying for it at all thats not the issue. The vet has said that his top teeth are useless and he is not using them, she wants me to let them remove them :(
I'm just worried as that will be 2 lots of anaesthetic in a few months as he was nutured not long ago. I can't decide what to do for the best, since he has been having his teeth cut back he has been like a new piggy pop corning everywhere I just don't see the point in putting him through anymore, opinions please xxxxx

oh gosh this is another tough decision :( i haven't had experience in this area :-\ so the vet knows that he was neutered not long ago? Surely she wouldn't suggest it if she thought it was not a good idea? I really don't know so sorrry not to be of much help just wanted to send you this: (((HUGE HUGGLES AND PIGGIE KISSES))) :-* :-* :-* :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
Sorry :embarassed: hopefully someone who does know about it will come along soon :smitten:

Thanks Cavy Love I no is tough I don't no whether to be cruel to be kind iygm. My vet said it is my choice she just said she could remove them and would be better in the long run. Oh god why are things never simple hey :D

iygm ? !!

I think I would continue to have them cut back - at least for a while and see how it goes - that's just my opinion but I do agree another anaesthetic could cause problems.

any surgery has its risks and stress to a piggy. as BJ said for now why now just keep getting them trimmed and see how things go? sending you hugs and cuddles :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: and the girls send tucker :-* :-* :-* you know tucker better than anyone look into your heart and you'll know what to do that is best for him in the long run. good luck. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
