What's best to clean urine stains on cage base?

I need to deep clean the piggies cage while they are away. I usually use lemon juice but the base of their cage is a mess and full of urine stains. What's best to use? Lemon juice, white vinigar or any other ideas?

White vinegar works wonders, spray on make sure stains covered and leave for a while, lifts stains off easy good luck

White vinegar definitely, leave it to soak then scrub and rinse
I usually chuck the cage base in the bath a section at a time then pour vinegar over it, makes less mess!

Another vote for vinegar here. I put my bases outside and soak the messy bits in vinegar for a couple of hours then scrub, works like magic!

If you have a discount store near you, they might sell it by the gallon, sorry, 5 litres. At around £2 a time it works out very cheap and can be used for pickling too.

Yes white vinegar works well

If you have particularly stubborn stains, spray on some vinegar, let sit a bit, and then sprinkle some course salt on before scrubbing (an old toothbrush works pretty well). You could also try a scraper with the vinegar.
