My boys always have their veggies at dinner time and spend most of the evening wheeeeeeeking away until its served.
I'm sure they're saying 'whats for dinner mum?'
So tonight's dish is:
Peas in Pods, with Red Peppers, served on a bed of Celery, with a side salad of Cucumber.
Finished off with a slice of Apple for dessert.

What did your piggies have for dinner?

Mine will be having (not had it yet, I'm a bad piggy mum!)

Lettuce of a variety I don't remember, pepper of a yet unselected colour and whatever peelings are left over from my dinner!

They're currently still munching on the corn on the cob they had for breakfast!

Well! mine are fussy and wont eat apple, pear or any red fruit or red veg! strange.
mine have romaine lettuce, cucumber and green pepper every day and then depending on what day it is they get an extra for breakfast from the following list: kale, parsley, spinach, carrot, broccoli. yet to try them on peas...can you feed them defrosted frozen peas?
(they also have hay and guinea pig kibble 24/7 to graze on in between veggies)

Mine have a bowl of guinea brunch so they've got something to munch overnight. For breakfast they had a banquet of lettuce, cucumber, pear, carrot, apple, corn on the cob and a bit of kiwi fruit, small portions of everything, I don't want them being pigs! :)):)):))

Ok this might sound like a silly question but does the corn on the cob have to be cooked before you give it to them or do they eat it raw? Same goes for beetroot - am I meant to cook that?

Corn on the cob is given raw, including leaves, strings, the lot, they'll eat it all. ;)

Mine will get fresh cucumber and green beans (from the allotment this afternoon) little gem lettuce, red pepper, apple and celery. I surprised they aren't squeaking for it yet they usually are by now.

Spinach, lettuce, carrots, sweetcorn, mixed salad bag. All yellow label which came too; £1.02 and it'll last me around 3 or four days so I'm rather pleased :))

Green beans, a little tomato from my granddads garden, a little cucumber, round lettuce and some broccoli :)
