Yesterday Athena was sitting in my lap as I was drinking apple cider (not the alcoholic kind). Athena seemed very interested in what I had in my cup. Can't blame her as even to my poor human nose it smells like appley goodness. She kept trying to raise herself up to investigate what was in my cup.
Finally, figuring that it is just squished apples and there is no extra sugar and that she is not a fan of apples to start with I lowered the cup to her level. This seemed to get her even more excited and proceed to smell all around the cup and look inside of it.
But looking wasn't enough. She finally decided that to fully investigate she would stick her whole head in my cup! There was no chance of her getting stuck so I let her.
In the end she ended up with a very wet chin and has decided she does not like apple cider.
