Well Sundays are always boring so we thought we would give ours a little treat today, so they have pansys picked from the garden, rocket, basil a slice of banana and a slice of tangerine, hoping it will brighten up their day seeing as its so wet and dreary. What's everybody else feeding today?

The stuffed peppers are a great idea! I keep seeing them reduced in Tesco ill have to get some and try this, the kids would enjoy helping me prep them!

looks good enough to eat, spoilt piggies

@lisaali just going to clarify they are (some countries called capsicum) mini sweet bell peppers de-seeded & NOT chilli peppers (just in case other readers mistake them due to there size)
think i may have stuffed roast peppers for tea this week now, yummy!

Don't think chilli peppers do guineas any good

xx

Yes absolutely they are mini Bell peppers.... We cut the tops off de-seed them, wash under running water to remove any trapped seeds before stuffing them...

Any type of Chilli Pepper is a big No No for piggies..

Lisa & Ali.. x

On the menu tonight will be Kale, Cucumber and possibly some Carrot.

We on the other hand have a slow cooker Veggie Sausage casserole which should prove interesting....

@lisaali i knew you wouldn't, i just didn't want other readers to get the wrong idea if they looked quickly :xd:
hope you didn't mind me saying?

@jeffnsweep pansy's sound good... i didn't realise you could give them pansies until just before christmas when i seen them as part of the ingredients in some treat/forage bags.

The girls will be having some freshly picked grass, cucumber & i think there are some carrots & carrot tops left :tu:

I'm having roast beef, etc at the parents tonight, dads cooked some leek & potato soup too (his specialty)
(i knew it was a good idea to lend them my slow cooker )

not entirely sure you approve of your veggie sausage casserole @sport_billy ?

xx

Not at all better to be safe than sorry... x

Quinn is on a low calcium diet so Kasper also has to have a slice of bell pepper and a few bits of coriander. Not much today as trying to find out what causes the problems :(

Mine are having cavolo Nero (cabbage) which they absolutely love. They are also having celery, yellow pepper and spring greens for tea. Their mummy needs to go veg shopping as we don't have anything too exciting in at the moment.

I am having stir fry for tea and cannot wait.

Your piggies have good taste I too love cavolo Nero! Delicious fried in butter and nutmeg!

I posted what my piggies were getting to eat today but forgot to post what my little people are having! Everyone in our house is fed up of roast dinners after Xmas so we are having Belgium stew but minus the beer as the kids will be eating it too!

Love seeing what everybody feeds their piggies as it gives me some ideas of what else to feed, I get loads of reduced veg luckily and get so excited at the supermarket when I see a bargain I've started thinking oh the piggies would love to try this not oh the kids would love to try this!

The piggies had some lettuce and a bit of brocolli each. Which they love.

I think stuffing the peppers is such a good idea and I know the pigs would love them. I will have to pick some peppers and herbs up tomorrow and give them a proper treat.

As for what I'm having, I'm being bold and having chips or fries in other countries
