What's the best vegetable for daily feeding?

Heard so many conflicting stories I'd like to know the best vegetable to feed daily with a few variations added in of course.

I'd consider a little bit of cucumber, green pepper, gem/romaine lettuce and a sprig of coriander to be daily foods.
