What's the best way forward for homing my 3 piggies?

First apologies if this has gone on the wrong board.

I'll try to keep this as short as possible.

I have 3 piggies Fudge ( Male aged 5/6ish) Buggerlugs (Female about 11 mths old) and Princess (male 6 months old).
Fudge and Buggerlugs are caged seperately outside Princess is inside. I feel so sorry for all of them living alone.

Can anyone suggest a more sociable set up for them, although to be honest spacewise and situation doesn't really allow for more inside piggies.

Do you know how to bond?

Would you prefer them indoor or out?

Yes i did.

Are they nutered or not?If not it wouldn't be good to bond them.But you could house them close otherwise,in one place.Like a shed or something.

Do you want them out or in?
 
I would prefer them outside as the space isn't really available inside. No they are not neutered I did wonder about getting Fudge done but as he is nearly 6 thought it was a bit late in his life.

Princess is Fudge and Buggerlugs' son.
 
To be honest I wouldn't chance a 6 year old with a neuter unless it's medically necessary. Two males together with a female generally won't work as they will fight over her. The only two options I see are to try and bond the two males (as one is younger I can't see why it wouldn't work, given enough space) or have the younger male neutered to live with the female.

I don't think it's fair to house piggies singly outdoors. Do they have shelter like a shed? I honestly don't think that their tiny bodies were built to cope with the extreme temperatures the UK is facing at the moment.
 
I would get the young boar neutered now then put him in with his mum. Then they could go in a large hutch together with a mesh divider with the older boar the other side. That way the boars could not fight and they can all see each other.
 
I certainly agree about them being in the cold alone It really wasn't done deliberately. They are in an open shed covered over.

Fudge was originally housed with a rabbit who died.
The vet told me he was a girl so we got a female for company. Then there were 7!
 
The reason baby is inside is because i was advised to by the vet as 2 of the babies died.

Because of the dog it really isn't practical I would love to believe me.

That's a good idea, if you can. Or, you can get the two males bonded and get another girl (that you know for fact is a girl!) for Butterlugs. Or, if you still have the un-neutered male in with the female, it's obvious there will be another litter and you can just keep a girl from there. Also, why is a male named Princess? :o

All 5 babies were named before we knew what sex they were! It just stuck! lol
 
Oh and also I'm a bit dubious about letting the vet get hold of any of them when he doesn't know a boy from a girl!

Anyone know of any good piggie vets in North Yorkshire?
