I think Metacam is a POM yes?

I have Metatone which I read about in Peter Gurney's book. It helps to restore vitality.

Are they both appetite stimulants?

Metacam is an anti-inflamatory/pain killer which is available only through your vet and Metatone I think, from memory, is like a tonic to boost ailing piggies (and people!).

As the others have said, Metacam (meloxicam) is an anti-inflammatory and painkiller - typically given for dogs, but it seems to be the favoured painkiller for guinea pigs. Metatone is an appetite stimulent and a recovery/energy tonic. They are safe to be given together.

Think Metatone contains an iron supplement to boost apetite.
