Hey there.
This is the place to post if you have an awesome story of your guinea pig. Funny or not.. still tell?

Heres mine
When my piggy was younger she could jump out of her cage from inside. Once, I put a cushion on the bars with a piece of cucumber at the bottom. She jumped down the cushion and grabbed the cucumber and dragged it back into her house.

It was funny-er if you were there..

So tell us your stories!
:D

Well where do I start there have been so many memorable moments with our two boys they are such comical wee things

The one that comes to mind is the boys always climb the bars when theres food on the go so they both got their bit of cucumber thru the bars - Jules first who then jumped down to eat - then Maurice got his but as he jumped he dropped his piece on Julien's back Maurice looked piuzzled as to where his food had gone meanwhile Julioen wandered off with cucumber on back Maurice soon caught up with him tho lol

When Bella was smaller we made a run for the cage with quite high walls, to the point where Silver could not climb over. We thought this would be ok since Silver was the larger pig... this was not the case, i woke up the next day to hear her purring running all around my room. She just looked up to say, "Well you were sleeping i was looking for the veggies myself". Me and my boyfriend both howled and subsequently made the run walls much higher and barrackaded them!

One very warm summer day, my Minx was roaming the lawn in our enclosed garden (with us sitting out) when she came across a frog. They had a look at each other and then made both the most enormous jump backward at the same time!

She loved to run past the frog pond and make all the frogs go splash!

Once i was watching the BORING(!) news with my dad and my guinea pig, dommino, and he climbed on to my dad's arm, this made him jump and he spilled all hi's coffee in my hair! Domino was ok but had a very scared look on his face!

When one of my girls was being chased by one of my neutered boars she stopped dead and we,ed right in his face ,you should have seen his expression.then he started washing his face like mad and gave up chasing her.

the stories iv read so far are hilarious

it probably wudny have been funny at the time but the one with the coffee spillage realli made me giggle

a similar thing occured when I stayed at home with my parents though there was no guinea pigs invvolved thought I would share

My dad was trying to be clever and balance a glass of juice on his belly and I made him laugh which made him laugh subsequnetly making his belly move and ended up with him wearing the juice :))

Funniest thing I've seen was when my friend tied a chunk of carrot to the inside of her guineas indoor cage with an elastic band. Her piggy got hold of the carrot and tried to make off with it but when the band pulled tight he let go and it pinged back to the side of the cage :)) You should have seen the look on his face! Have to say that she only let him do it a few times before she gave him the carrot as I suggested it was a bit unkind - funny though :x

Lois remineded me of a funny moment with my piggies by mentioning her Cindy's house

Our boys have their veg dish on top of their wee house and an every day occurence is that they nudge the house so that it collapses. One morning they were sooo desparate for veg that they didn't give me time to fix the house properly so you can imagine what happened when one of them jumped on top of the house - yip you've guessed it the house collapsed with guinea pig on top scrabbling to get himself off it :(|)

Lol! Ty!

My guinea pig also used to drag her house around. She'd be like a turtle, dragging it to her water bottle then to her food, then just finding a good spot to lie in.
Aha :)

Well when my pigs were out for floortime Joey was in a brown paper bag filled with hay. He loves his hay bags, but he came out and got the handle stuck over his head and was walking about with the bag dragging behind him!

I didnt see it as my mum was watching them in the living room and she was crying with laughter when she told me! Joey was fine and still loves his brown bags without the handles on. :))

I know I've posted this story before, but probably the funniest thing Noggin has done occured in the summer holidays. He lives in an open-fronted cage and is free to come and go. Because I got up a little later than usual during the holidays, Noggin got fed-up of waiting for his breakfast and regularly climbed out of his cage and wandered into the kitchen where he sat in front of the fridge. I can tell you it made me feel guilty to see Noggin sitting there waiting (I'm)patiently!

:)) Some very funny and cute stories!

This happened this afternoon and made me smile :)

My girls got a new bed for Christmas. Pixel doesn't seem to get it though, she wriggled underneath it and crashed out (even though Pippa was lay inside the bed rolleyes ) I moved the bed and put her in it, but she just jumped out and wriggled underneath again! Silly piggie! :))

Is noggin a guinea pig?

I have only had my piggies a few weeks so don't have too many stories yet. The only one I have is we had had them 2 days and they started to 'popcorn', the thing is I didn't know thats what they were doing so I thought they were having a fit. I was really worried. Thank God for the internet *** I was just about to take them to a vet *** I thought they were fitting when all the time they were just happy piggies. What an idiot but I am learning with help from the forum. mallethead

while i was cleaning the living one of mine kept jumping out of his home in out in out so i got the carrier out i use when they were cleaned out in he jumped cleaned there home when i done he went to bed :p after giving me a little nod to say thanks

when we first got the boys we had them on a table that had an empty crisp pkt an maurice being the nosy piggy that he was decided he *** sniff in the bag only to get it stuck on hsi head an for him to panic was funny at the time but think he got a bit of a fright

Heehee! The paper bag dragging story made me giggle, I've seen my boys do that too :)
I often feed my boys cherry tomatoes cut in half, its one of their favourite treats. One night I thought I would add some interest to their run time by giving them a whole cherry tomato to get into. Lol, the look on Rufus' face when his tomato kept running away every time he tried to bite it! I let him chase it around the run for about 30 seconds before I felt cruel and cut it up for him!
