What's This Noice

my single 21 week old male guinea pig makes this sound whenever he's out of the cage, after a while he then bites me. He never used to do this and I'm really worried. He also makes a noise in his cage but it's abit different. I'm really worried about him. What can I do ? What is it ?

The noise might mean several things, but if it is followed by him biting you then he is probably trying to tell you politely that he is not happy.
But if he seems content while making it then it might just be his happy noise.
We have one who caters constantly (Ruby) and she often makes a low 'purring' type sound when being held. But if we move her off our laps then she immediately climbs back on, settles down and starts purring again, so I am guessing it is her happy noise.

Sometimes you have to read the body language too, but biting is definitely a sign that he is not content and wants to be put down or back in the cage.
