Hi all,
I found a lump on the back of our guiney (just by the end of his neck), with a string of hair attached to it.
Under this is something that looks like a little hole in his skin (maybe 2mm in circumference), and it looks like this piece of hair with (something) attached to it is just coming out of the "hole".
Is it just a healing (scratched off) scab with a few hairs attached to it, or something else?

Today, this "thing" went off the skin, and what's left on Lolo's back is a little wound.

Pictures are attached, they should show how it all looks like.

Thank you for help!

looks like a little cyst or infected hair follicle that drained on it's own, like a pimple, only the deep kind.

I don't know about when they are on guinea pigs, but on people when that happens, you put some antibiotic ointment on it, keep it clean, and it should heal up.

I'll keep watching the wound, also try to upload pictures of it (it didn't work when I was uploading the first one...).
