Hello! I'm new so sorry if I do something wrong!
Yesterday I rescued two little piggies whose owners moved house and left them behind. They hadn't been cared for very well since and just had food put in for them by a housemate. I noticed one of them has a crust around the outside of the flaps of his ears. His ears are quite 'scruffy' and have little splits in them but these do not look painful at all. I have no idea what this is! He has had quite a dramatic time and is so terrified of everything that I don't want to take him to the vet unless it is necessary, so I thought I'd find out if it is something I can treat myself first but I'm struggling to find information. Other than this he seems in good health and the other piggies ears are fine. Please help!
