Hello! I'm new so sorry if I do something wrong!
Yesterday I rescued two little piggies whose owners moved house and left them behind. They hadn't been cared for very well since and just had food put in for them by a housemate. I noticed one of them has a crust around the outside of the flaps of his ears. His ears are quite 'scruffy' and have little splits in them but these do not look painful at all. I have no idea what this is! He has had quite a dramatic time and is so terrified of everything that I don't want to take him to the vet unless it is necessary, so I thought I'd find out if it is something I can treat myself first but I'm struggling to find information. Other than this he seems in good health and the other piggies ears are fine. Please help!

I think you should get them to the vets for a through health check. If there is problems it's best to catch it early and treat, for piece of mind too.

Are you planning on keeping them?
Do you know what sex they are?

They are males, and yep I'm keeping them :)
I'm going to take them both to the vets, I think they have fleas or mites also :(
