I absolutely love Guinea pigs and I cannot say just one thing I love about them, I just love everything about them. They are the cutest things I have ever seen, I love to see them zooming around popcorning. One of my Guinea pigs, Henry (who is sadly no longer with us) used to wheek and flap his ears at the same time it was so adorable and when he was zooming his little ears would be flapping ❤️ he was gorgeous!
Now I would like to know what's you favourite thing/things about Guinea pigs :)

It's very hard to say, I did used to love watching my pig bill popcorning, he was the only one who did and it always made me laugh.I also love how it looks like they're smiling when u look at their mouth underneath .Theres nothing I don't like about Guinea pigs though, they're just the sweetest animals in my opinion.

I love how they have their own little personalities, how they are very good at wrapping me round their little fingers (claws? :P) to get what the want, usually more food.
I love how they recognise my voice when I come in the room and they're up on their back legs trying to get my attention.
I also love how they get moody and stroppy if you don't feed them fast enough or if you try to pet them when they don't want you to.
I just utterly adore piggies, I always have. They're such beautiful little animals and I love watching them interact with other pigs, all their sounds and behaviours are so interesting :luv:

When I hand feed them they sniff my fingers and up my sleeve to see if there's anything better to eat, (don't know why I've never put food up there).
In the morning Peanut wheeks as loud as he can when he hears me coming down the stairs and runs round the cage full pelt doing sort of handstands (half popcorns, he only gets his back legs off the ground) that's cupboard love, pellet and veggie time.
I love everything about piggies and their antics, they make me smile.

:D As has been said, I love everything about piggies. It is very hard to pick out one thing that I love more than anything else about them.
I love their soft, warm fur; their wheeks at veg time in the morning; the way they seem to know that their veg is late because Mum's not well; their popcorns and zoomies showing me that they are happy.

I think it's because there seriously is nothing I don't like about them ;) I love every inch of my piggies, even grumpy old Ziggwigg <<<< she really does not like people or other pigs, she hates cuddles etc, but her ears flap when she wheeks, she has the sweetest piggy lips & despite her being a mardy madam I still love her :)

Archie does this thing where he purrs into my face so I can nuzzle my nose under his chin in his ruff, that lovely thick fur there the chin turns into the chest. He lets me bury my face into it and kiss it, its so soft and smells nice and i can feel the vibrations from his throat. He only lets me do that, anyone else touches him on his cheeks or under the chin and he bites them.

Funny you should say that my fudgie bites anyone who does near his ruff, I always imagine him saying "it's mine and no one else's" :)

My George does this - he's a bit more choosy than Lily. Just as if he's saying, "What else is there?" I find it so funny! I also love the way Lily runs to the back of the cage and hides if she gets a big piece of veg, to eat it in peace.

For me it's how easily pleased they are, mine hear me come in down stairs ( near the fridge ) and are already running around squeaking, it's being able to have a big hug and them nit wanting to run off most of the time ! And manny more little things they do!

However one downside ,,,,, POOP FACTORYS !

@Stayc1989 @Poppy'sMum , never have I heard of or seen a piggy flap their ears... but that certainly made me smile! It must be quite a sight :) :)

What do I love?

How varied they are in looks and personalities
Their noises. I had one who's vocal cords appeared to be attached to her legs - she couldn't walk without uttering 'buddup-buddup-buddup' as she went
Their friendly social interactions
How they don't automatically love you, you have to earn it, but once they like you, they really do.
How excited they get and how they express themselves
How they love something new
Sharing nose-boops
Piggy-lips and chooken legs
How they manage to express themselves without their faces changing.
That boar mojo - how they love themselves and will show off to their mates, their toys, you...... they really think they are the most wonderful beings on the planet! ... or is that just my Freddie?

Rosie does this. In fact she has learned to move well away from Penny and Ruby to a different level when I am preparing the veggies. I give her portion to her, and theirs to them, and she will take each piece into her wooden tunnel to eat. Once she has eaten all of hers she will then go down to Ruby and Penny and tuck into theirs if there is any left. She's a clever little one..... There's no competition from Penny or Ruby, neither of them hog the food or discourage Rosie in any way, but I think she has learned how to make sure she has total possession of her own portion and then she can have more if the others haven't finished... clever little Rosie-Roo :).

It's very cute and funny when they flap their ears, I've only seen Henry do it out of all the 8 piggies I've had. I think it's when they get excited :)
I just love the little creatures, I'd love to get one like the size of a small dog though but it would be a bit of a nightmare cleaning up all those big poops. My Frankie pig is the first one I've had with pink eyes and when I look at him straight on he looks cross eyed and My fudgie has brown nostrils and lips but he has just one little pink patch on his bottom lip. I love how they are all different and all have unique little things about them. I always seem to fall in love with the big fat boars.
My fudgie makes me laugh so much because before bed I always give them cucumber and if I change it to something else fudgie will have a strop and punches his bowl of food so pellets fly everywhere and hit his plastic house and makes a right racket then he will run into his house and hide lol never seen anything like it before but it's so funny what he does :)

Pippin recently flapped her ears when she got excited.. it was so funny !

I just love them... they make me smile even if the day is crap ! Their wheeking, the zoomies, the pop corning and the cuddles..

Piggie cuddles!
And when my mute piggy Percy sits on my shoulder and just breathes into my ear... It tickles and sounds funny all at the same time!
Albie when it's fleece change day and he wanders around making his exploring noise to see which fleece we have this time. (I gave them a new pink one and they ran straight into their pigloos and wouldn't come out!)
Percy when he pulls the silly faces he does.
Albie when he wants my attention because the pigloo magically flipped over, or the veggies ran out... he sits there and plays with the water bottle so it goes "chink, chink chink" like a little maid bell :own:
I could go on all night!

I love how social and communicative they are, both with each other and with the humans. After 12 years of having hedgehogs (who are solitary animals who don't pick up on many social cues) I was impressed at how well the pigs anticipate their routine and how vocal they can be in communicating their excitement (or unhappiness at having to wait a few more minutes) when it's hay time, free play time, snack time, etc. They're brighter than I would have given them credit for before getting my first pig pair!
