of day with your Guinea Pigs.

Mines about 10.30pm. After they have their veggies I top up their hay for the night and I sit and listen to 6 little piggies eating hay. The world has gone quiet then, neighbours TV is off, OH has gone upstairs and the traffic outside is gone. There's just the very calming sound of hay munching.

I like morning madness with mine when they are charging round the room sounding like a herd of elephants! I always assumed they would be light on their feet, or is it just mine?
I, too, assumed piggies would be light on their feet. And some most definitely are, but we’ve also had some who’ve thumped around as though they are wearing hob nailed boots.

Yes! I love morning madness too. That's when they get their veggies and everyone charges round and round in anticipation.

I like 4pm to 6pm when they are all moving around in their cages and waiting for floor time and dinner. I work in the piggy room and notice them start to move around more at 4pm and it builds up to zoomies (for the younger ones) and then a general commotion and eventually complaining wheeks that it must be almost dinner time. If Allan is out at the office he gets a very loud wheeking chorus when he arrives home.

Mine is morning time. My girlies are generally sleepy until I lift the covers off them then Misty and Bramble immediately go into a hidey knowing that I going to put them in the run for breakfast and Thea is staring at me with her "feed me now Slave!" face. All three of them fall on their breakfast which is always scatterfed .

In the evening for about 3 hours before dinnertime when they tell me how late I am with the veggies and start jumping on their houses and doing zooming in order to get their point across.

I also like veggie time when they get so excited they have to do a quick lap of the cage between climbing the bars begging for coriander/parsley/ lettuce etc

I love listening to the happy hay munching in the evening and overnight, when we stay at my parents, piggies and slaves have to room share.

My everyday favourite time is the evening, coming home from work and getting wheeeky greetings in hope its veggie time(which it isn’t quite!). Also Billy‘s occasional mad evening zoomies.
