Hi! New here.
I have 2 one year old boars. A few months ago one of them occasionally made a sort of wheak noise of sorts not like pain I was never watching so couldn't connect dots but did find it strange as it doesn't match up to normal wheaks as he appeared fine still eating drinking healthy weight perfectly happy I thought I'd keep eye until I could figure it out. He then stopped and I didn't hear it for a while however he's started again and just this second I have witnessed it it appears to be when he's passing Poo howevet theres no issue passing it he doesn't hide away or appear upset after passing. I checked and the pellets are perfectly normal shape consistsncy etc. It doesn't appear to be after ever passing either as it's only couple times a day and I witness him passing plenty without issue.
Not sure what my next action should be does it sound like Illness as I said he's eating drinking perfectly happy otherwise and has done this before however as mentioned it stopped. Has anyone experienced this?
Thank you

It’s a good idea to get a vet check carried if he seems to be exhibiting discomfort when toileting. There are several things it can be so a hands on vet check is always best.

I hope he is ok

Hello and welcome to the forum. Good luck at the vets. I hope it’s something easily sorted

My girl would intermittently have pain when peeing and or pooping. It got better for a while and then came back and she had a bladder stone. But there can be lots of differant reasons. I would advice getting him seen by a vet though to rule out a stone. X

That’s what happened with my Percy too. I’d get them checked out just to be sure.

My Ruby suffers with a similar problem. Sometimes she's in pain when passing poops/urine then other times she is fine. She is currently being treated for cystitis. Pain when passing poops and urine can signify a number of illnesses, so I really would recommend a vets visit. Hope your piggie is OK.

Definitely sounds like a possible infection or sludge or bladder stone. I hope your piggy feels better soon xx
