Ohh yes, it's a sad thing when you get excited about haivng some decent pictures of your piggies. But i know you guys here will apreciate my sentiment.
Start off with the pair photos ...
Finn (L) & Pickwick (R). Ahhh my gorgeous Pickwick, he will be 6 in a few months. I do love him so, even if he does smell a bit funky at times. Finn is my big chunky boy (1500g) when i last weighed him and he's grown since then too, but he's an absolute gentle giant.
Gulliver (R) & Romeo (L) - Gulliver had to split from his group at the begining of december as he was picking on Finn somtihng fierce. He's been with baby Romeo for a month now though and he takes his uncle duty very seriously.
And *drumroll* my success story of the year. After losing Heston, and then very shortly Varro who was Harveys new baby friend, i had resigned myself to the fact i would have to have Harvey castrated. He fought with Gulliver and bit him badly.
I took him to work and he had a dating day (where he fell into brawls withing minuets) and then, after what had appeared to have been a successfull bonding with Buddy (who LadyKelly is looking after) he then beat him up. In his fight with Buddy he got an abcess on his face which lead me to make the grudging decision to neuter him. However, i am a chicken and really didnt want to do it. And kept stalling ringing the vet. Then, bah-ba-dahhh along came saviour.
I took on some foster piggies recently and mum fell in love with the sheltie in the group immediately. Call it fate or not but he got beaten up badly by his cage mate so we made the decision to split. After getting him vet checked and given the all clear we decided to give Harvey his last chance. nd what a last chance it was! Harvey is utterly smitten with Blake. He's always nuzzling and cleaing him and just doesnt stop popcorning now which is lovely to see. He's been so depressed since losing Heston and Varro. So y introduce my new loved up couple.
