Adult Guinea Pig
Hello! We're Crunchie and Kinder and we've bagged ourselves a new hooman a week ago.
We came from a school who had only had us for a few weeks but needed to find a new home for us as they didn't feel they could keep us. So my hooman was asked by one of her relatives if she would be at all interested in taking us (seeing that she's a mug for a cute face, whee suppose!). She was and now whee have a new home, a MASSIVE new cage (our old one was so small whee couldn't run and stretch our little legs!), all the yummy food we can eat (because whee are growing young men, see!) and a hooman that whee think loves us already.
Kinder: Yes, because I kiss her all the time and she loves how cute and bold I am!
Crunchie: No, it's because I'm super fluffy and she thinks I look like a teddy bear!
I suppose you'd like a pigture or two of us, right?
HERE WE ARE!
Kinder on the left (Abby) and Crunchie on the left (mummy thinks I'm a Peru in disguise)
(Whee are still a little bit unsure so all the things to hide under are helping us be brave little boys!)
We're super cute, right?
Note from human: These two little boys were so, so, so unexpected! So much for NO MORE PIGGIES FOR A WHILE, eh? I couldn't say no, though, and seeing what they came in I'm very very glad they're only babies and can grow in a more boar appropriate environment. Especially now they've started the dominance displays and constant strutting phase that they would have had to go through with nowhere to escape from each other if one got a little too much!
Plus, they're just so cute that I would have done anything to make room even if I didn't really have it for them. Luckily for these guys with a new triple hutch being fixed up tomorrow and a spare indoor cage available there was space, even if I didn't intend on filling it! Those faces. Fairly sure Crunchie (the tricolour) is going to turn out to be a Peru. I'm not sure whether Kinder has barbered him out of boredom/frustration in their old cage or it was trimmed before they were sold (I'd estimate they were sold immediately after leaving mum - too young, anyway!) but looking at that coat... I have my suspicions!
-facepalm-
