We decided to build a C & C today made from the mesh grids from Wickes. It isn't huge as they are still free range and can come and go as they please. We didn't use correx either as we have plastic tablecloths and puppy pads. They seem to love it and Maddy has even had a good explore (when Jess the bully lets her rolleyes).

Excuse the state of the living room, it's basically one big cage. The tables behind are for some of the hamsters which we had moved into the other room while we built and redid the plastic tablecloths on the floor.

Not managed to get a pic of all 5 yet, Jess was just out of view in the haytray in these pics.

They are £15 for 16 grids. On the shelf it still says £30 but when you get to the till they are £15. It may just be my branch that hasn't changed the label though. We used them without the feet though as that made it not fit under the table. We have them everywhere, blocking off the kitchen door and all wires etc and also round near the curtains as they keep peeing on them.

I bet your piggies are loving that room bless them, I got mine on ebay you get 10 grid 6 mesh £17.99 plus £5.99 delivery but you can order more than one with no extra delivery. Two packs done me a 2x4 raised with storage and 2x1 kitchen (I'm getting another pack tho) B and Q do correx 1220mm x1220mm £11.98 not online you have to go instore they do the grid's too 23 for £22 but they don't seem to have alot in stock anywhere.

The kitchen arrived from Cavy Couture and they love it

Here is a pic. We have also put some wood round the top of the cage to make it more rigid and a little bit across the open door to stop the hamsters rolling in lol.
