Whee have a new friend called Star

The other day in the Pets at home adoption centre I saw an 18 month old sow who's friend had died and she had been left there to be rehomed. Her sign said she'd be ready today so we were there as the doors opened.

I think she may be partly aby as she has a slight rosette thing going on. Other than that she looks a bit like Honey. Will post pics later when am not on my phone.

She is in her own cage for now until she is ready for intros.

aww cutie, can't wait to see some more pics. I have an aby and one part aby hehe as she has 2-3 rosettes near her bum and nowhere else
 
Thanks everyone, she is a really shy little thing, not seen much of her today but she stuck her nose out during the chaos of veggie time and has taken food throughout the day when we haven't been in the room.
 
Theres a couple (a single boar and a single sow) in our pah adoptoion bit i wold love to take and neuter the boy, they would make such a lovely pair, I'm so tempted lol. But i know i shouldnt.

It's really difficult to step away isn't it. There is a pair of boars in ours at the mo that have been there longer than Star was but we have no room for boars.
 
Update

Well we decided to bond Star with the rest of the herd last night and it went surprsingly well. She found Johnny straight away and lots of humping from both sides went on. Then she ran round the room exploring. She even popcorned. Not got any new group pics yet but here are some of her chilling:

Gertie spent ages grooming her too. She runs off at veggie time but it is more us walking about she is scared of, not the other piggies.
 
Awww... I'm so pleased the introduction went well. Looking forward to group pics once Star has settled in more. x

Salt and Pepper's Mum, we have 8 in the living room (Johnny and 7 sows) and Buzz and Woody in the bedroom.
