Peppa and I whould like to complain that at the wheekend whe were forcefully evicted from our usual residence, a rather lovely ferplast 120 and thrown into a makeshift house. Whe are not happy, whe have lost our radiator and tv and whe dont even get running water here, it has to come from a pond! brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr whe whill not speak to our hoomin. Its all Luna's fault apparently, her previous owner brought her into rescue in a zoozone 2 which whe hear is only useful as a hamster cage! So we were evicted so that Luna could have a cage she could move in, that would be our home Luna! Luna even with your adorable floppy ears we will not stand for this!

Look at our house, the quality of finish is soooo poor, look at them cable ties! Oh and a water pond (bowl) urgh whe want our bottle back! Oh and we are on top of the pet rabbits dog crate they're such noisy neighbours! On the plus side we are in our hoomins bedroom and can keep her awake muhahahahaha. We do appreciate that our temporary home is actually a 3.5x2 C&C so larger than our old home but the fixtures and fittings let it down and its in a worse area!

Oh and this is Luna, mum says she is at the vets this week for her jabs and neuter after payday, and we will get our house back when she is healed up and her quarantine is over so she can be in a dog crate next to the other rabbits and potentially be bonded with them! Mum also says she cried seeing a large bunny stuck in a zoozone unable to even do one hop or stand, isnt she a soppy git! Mummy officially is only fostering Luna for Pixie Rabbit Rescue but we can see her staying she seems to love her already!

Thanks for reading whe really appreciate it :D wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeek wheeeeeeeeek

Hi Peppa and Norbert...what good piggies giving up your home to help a poor bunny. That would make me sad too! Poor bunny. Enjoy your new temp home :-) love and wheeks to you all x

Awwh you poor things :)) but just think about the good deed you are doing for your fellow furry! Plus it is more room to make even more mess for your hoomin to clear up! That's got to be a bonus surely! :))

P.S I can see why you might want to hold onto Luna, she is stunning. I bet she is loving having more space to bunny about :))

Awww bless your furry little feet. Love to you both and beautiful Luna x

Its ok whe dont really mind, however whe know she is going to get spayed and be all sore so whe are partly like ner ner serves you right for stealing our home and also a bit like awww poor lady, Peppa especially as he recently had a mammary tumour removed poor bloke and knows how much it hurts whereas I, norbert, am only a baby who knows nothing of the sort so far wheeeeeeeeeeeeek

@sport_billy dont tell mum I said so but she has hairy feet like a hobbit like us hahahahah

Oh my goodness..... a rabbit in a zoozone 2? That is outrageous. You are very good pigs to give up your home to another friend in need.

Bekki - how on earth are you ever going to get any sleep with rabbits in your bedroom? We tried it for one night and once was enough!

I live in a studio and have a rabbit!

Aww, charity begins at home, little guys, and poor Luna sounds like she deserves a bit of luxury after being so appallingly cramped before coming to your home. Sure you will be rewarded with extra veggies for your sacrifice

What substrate/bedding does your Hooomin have in your new cage, Piggies? Is that wood pellets? Do you like them?

Poor Luna :( I'm so sad thinking of her plight.

I have a lionhead rabbit in an 48inch dog crate with two 6 sided puppy pens permanently attached and I feel awful about that as i worry that she does not have enough space/company/enrichment/etc etc. I could not even imagine keeping a rabbit in a zoozone 2. they do make great hamster habitats though!

OK so I feel old, when I first had guinea pigs 25 ish years ago they were kept in wooden hutches outside with large runs to keep the grass down, ditto rabbits. The point being I had to google this zoozone 2 house and wonder a) how you'd fit a rabbit in, and b) how anyone would after squeezing the rabbit thought it was enough space. Poor Luna, so glad your looking after her and giving her room to hop.

25 years ago, I didn't have time for pets, I was too busy dodging petrol bombs and nasty people trying to shoot me because of the clothes I wore!

Poor piggies. I'm sure you are just sulking but it looks like a lovely house to me! I'm sure you will get used to it..

and poor luna I wouldnt have been able to squeeze my rabbit (when i had one) into a hamster cage... she had a 5ft double hutch and a 6x4 run and I worried it was a little small. People are discusting

I left Ireland in 1989 and haven't been back, its still not safe for an unarmed ex soldier.

Jesus christ. I went to google the zoozone 2 as I was curious what it was and found one for sale with 2 guinea pigs.

x.o

Be happy piggles you aren't stuck in that x.x

edited to add: link removed, against forum rules I'm afraid. BossHogg

Oh god we know all about the zoozone 2 she dared to put us in one during a full cage scrub wheee were not happy! For anyone curious the cage is 100 x 50 (alright tiny but there is worse out there) and only 35cm tall so nearly half of the 2ft a rabbit needs to stand :-( it is still sold in many pet shops as a "rabbit" cage.

I have Googled zoozone and looks like it is marketed as a guinea cage on some sites :mal:

also i have noticed they are now selling 60cm rabbit cages.. i thought smallest they did was 80 this is getting worse surely they should be stopped from selling these?

yeah i have seen 60cm cages a few times, the zoozone 1 has been sold for rabbits at a shop near me and that makes the zoozone2 seem positively huge

I think Luna has a few fans on this site! I would love to give her a nose rub :) Please post more photos of the lovely Luna.

Bekki - is it you who has posted a very sensible review on amazon stating that the zoozone 2 is not suitable for rabbits? (Not that I am stalking you, I promise!)

Someone at work told me they had an unused indoor rabbit cage, and would I like it as their rabbit had died. I said, Oh yes please! Expecting it to be a 120, or even a 100 cm Ferplast. It turned out to be a 70cm cage! I was aghast that a bunny was kept in there .... .but also trying to be really polite and greatful for the spare cage. Its in the garage, as a hospital or transport cage for a piggy.

poor cages offend me

Its Papelit which is the same as back to nature cat and animal litter, only heave it because she cant really reach in the temporary cage so needed something that would last a week easily and not just be kicked all over the bedroom :-)

Oh poor babies! I'm sure you won't have any trouble making sure no one sleeps tonight, as my boys are partners in crime on a weekend morning, apparently nuggets have to be there at half past eight, if not earlier!
