I know I've posted a few pix lately, but just wanted to show off my handsomes. Billy & Rodney have been together since August after Rodney lost his twin Rufus just weeks before.

Rodney has just turned 2, and Billy will be 1 at the end of this month.

After initially being very annoying with humping, Billy has really settled down & altho will occasionally hump if excited he generally bimbles about nicely & is great company for Rodney who is a very happy little man.
They share food & toys perfectly, I'm so pleased with them.

Billy didn't have the greatest start in life, he's had a bit of change wasn't particularly wanted where he was - he visibly loves living here & is really enjoying his new home & all the new foods he's trying. He's completely different in nature, he's wild & crazy & speedy & manic whereas Rodney is lazy & cuddly & calm.

Anyone thinking of getting their bereaved or lone boar a friend look into it because it really can be worth it. And anyone worrying about humping, it does settle down.

It's still fairly early days, but Billy is in late teens now & while very dominant - Rodney's placid nature compliments this & it's so far working... Yey!

Happy boys

I had that problem too. I have a red eyed white piggy called piggy (really interesting name i know!) He's was about 4 months when we got him, nobody wanted him cuz the man said everyone said he was ugly!
Then we got pancake a couple months after. he was 7 wks when we got him.
I regret buying them seperately but because i had never had a pig before i bought one to test it out.

So they had seperate cages but they played together in their run. A lot of humping, to the point that i thought pancake mayh have been a girl because we never saw his willy. So now, my wonderful boyfriend has decided to build me a brilliant cage! Wanted a c&C but SOO hard to ifnd in the UK. Bought wood and mesh for £30 in total and mad a 2 story cage for them to live together and although pancake wheeks ALL THE TIME! things are going good.
Piggy likes to chill and relax where as pancake wants to play constantly and follows piggy everywhere. I am one happy piggy mummy today :)

Aww that's lovely Keash - my boyfriend wouldn't do a thing for mine you're very lucky. I managed to get grids off amazon but I agree it's difficult & I still haven't mastered the base, they're on a plastic mat at the moment!

It is lovely to see them with a new friend, Rodney wheeked all the time too but They seem to have an understanding now & Billy will leave him alone when he's told. Works quite well...
