Is there a reason that a guinea pig would wheek constantly?
 
If so it might be chatting.
Or it could be in pain or unhappy
Is it eating?

He has a friend and always has. He is eating and running around and following me around the house
 
Is it a 'doot doot doot' noise?

My Podrick does that all the time when he's walking around. And I used to have a piggy who did it whenever he was out on the floor, following me around.
 
Mine 'chatter' a lot more, sometimes it sounds like 'disgruntled old man', sometimes 'ooh, sniffing out food!'. They both wheek when there's the slightest chance of food, and Willow does the odd single wheek, for attention as far as I can understand, but this is rarer now.

Could your pig be trying their luck with begging? As in, they're following you and have twigged you're the bringer of food? :)) I know my two easily set each other off, if one wheeks, the other joins in without knowing what they're wheeking for :))

They are proper full blown wheeks at least once an hour. They hurt my ears. He stands and stares at me whilst doing it, it has gotten worse since there has been a veggie ban

Quinn or Frodo? Why ban on veggies - someone poorly?

He will be wanting something for sure.....

Quinn has had diarrhoea he should be well enough to get veggies later on. He's also addicted to the probiotic which doesn't help!

That will be the wheeking then, he wants his veg.... be strong and get ear plugs. Any idea what caused the upset tum?

Not 100% sure but he was wandering around the kitchen when I was cleaning the fridge then got an upset stomach the next day. I think he ate a slightly old Kalette. It wasn't mouldy but not at its best.
 
He want's his veggies and can't understand why his human is ignoring his cute little piggie demands.
It's so hard when what you are doing is for their own good but you can't explain that to them. Stay strong until he's better and can have veggies again.

He has had some today and has calmed down a little. I think he is still traumatised...
 
He's being a cheeky little piggy wrapping you around his little finger :D
