Due to the rise in temperatures, there was a special handful of fresh grass from the lawn. To say that some piggies were enthusiastic is a bit of an understatement...

Some, of course, were pressed hard trying to get their nose under Nerys' bum... Which triggered the odd pigquake!

However, everypig sorted itself out eventually.

There are some devouted pupils to the high art of stuffing pigself.

These guineas just get cuter and more cheeky every time we see them!

Loving Nerys on the plate there, she does look rather round doesn't she, bless her!
 
I picked my girls some grass seeing as it can now be found seeing as all the snow is melted! Your girls are gorgeous! where was llewelyn? or have i forgotten which one he is?

Llewelyn was on the piggy hugging the rest of the right plate and then dining on cariad's share! He didn't go short, exactly... ;)
 
What fabulous pics I love seeing them enjoying their grub soooo much, look at that enthusiasm :))

It's my favourite as well! She may be one of the less striking in my group, but she is SUCH a feisty little character!

yep my lawn is still snowed over and next door's cat has taken to leaving me "presents" on it. So I don't think mine will be getting any for a long while :(

Yes the girls have gone on strike they thinks that they deserve their grass on a plate now......sheeeeeeesh rolleyes:(|)
 
Sadly, there never was any decent amount of snow in Coventry (we had more hoar than snow!), so that may change in a couple of days... :{

But the grass was defo THE highlight of the day! :))
 
So cute! No grass here... too much snow! I nicked a branch from the neighbours apple tree and they had fun peeling the bark of it for a christmas snack :)
 
Love the pics :)). I wanted to give mine fresh grass for Xmas as I would have access to a garden but it was under 6 inches of snow so they'll have to wait a little longer :(.
 
Still waiting for the snow to melt then I will go to my special place on a sunny bank where they do not cut the grass and see if there is any. Meanwhile the coop have come up trumps again with lots of reduced salad veggies andcherry tomatoes so all is happy in the piggie hotel (the conservatory).Some new polystyrene boxes filled with hay to sit in .

Nerys is just getting huge lol,Cariad is so sweet and looks so delicate,they are all adorable although i still love Llewi what a pretty man he is! Looks like a very happy christmas in your pig castle:))x)
 
They were a little bit startled still by the presence of mother-in-law, but it didn't keep the piggies from enjoying themselves!

Nerys has been the same stable weight since late summer - but it hasn't kept you from going more "pudding" shaped all the time!

Haha I'm not surprised they kept up the usual eating habitsrolleyes.
Nerys just looks so big though lol then againe Nerys and Nia have always had big behinds!
 
Nerys has always been a big boned girl, but she is developing an impressive behind, by all standards! Some girls just seem to get them...

She is actually just below 1300g, so not even the chunkiest girl on the board, and only a touch ahead of Llewelyn! Nia is a very standard 1050g and lighter than Taffy.
 
I gave mine some carrot for their Christmas dinner!:) It's their favourite!
