Wheeze when wheeking

I am currently fostering some little piggies and one of them will get very vocal however when she wheeks the loudest she does an inhaled wheeze.

Has anyone else's piggie done something like this? Took her to get checked and her lungs were clear no crackling or wheeze and she has a normal temp so no infection signs!

Some piggies can lose their big wheek and sound rather hoarse instead. It is not a health problem. You just have to live with it. I have had several of them over the years.

Thank you! That's reassuring as I have experience with chronic uri piggies but it sounded more like a horse noise almost like the wheek was too much for her to make the noise! She's such a little girl I bought her in to be checked anyway and no signs of Uri so must just be very exciting to be in a new environment with nice food!
