I have been keeping a close eye on Lacey but on the odd occasion in the morning (normally about 5am) she starts heavy breathing then has a little cough and it stops, its not ongoing at all otherwise I would have had her straight down the vet.

Could it be that she has eaten too quickly (she tends to eat like someone's going to take it away)?

It could be that she has ate too fast or maybe got some dust up her nose....
Treacle hoots for a short while when she has been snuffling through the hay or wood shavings. She will also do it sometimes when she is eating like there is no tomorrow ( greedy piggie :)) )

I would get her checked over by the vet just to be on the safe side if you are concerned - just to be sure it's not the beginings of a URI, but I am neurotic.....

Does she have any discharge form eyes or nose?

No everything else is fine, I have checked her and do so every day just to be sure, the second I walk in from work she is there at the bars waiting for the fridge to be opended and wheeks like mad when she sees all the veg coming out.

It doesnt happen a lot, just on the very odd occasion, she does have a habbit of getting right in the hay, she burys herself right in it so maybe thats it
