As toby has mites the vet said don't be handling him alot but I really just wanna give him a cuddle we went two days ago can I pet my little man now?

I don't think there is a problem with handling him, I would handle him daily to at least check he is ok. :)

how's he doing? my four girls have got mites too :(

Better he has had his ivermectin, still scratching but not as excessive. His little scabs are drying out nicely the vet said and should heal quickly. Aww I'm sorry to hear it's very distressing isnt it?

its absolutely horrible. i feel so guilty over it, they've got lice too! i think one of the babies brought it with them.

I know exactly how you feel! but these things happen :( We are treating them you should see some owners who just let them rot! It's awful!

i could never do that! i'm using the gorgeous guinea powder, shampoo and they're having injections off the vet. the lice seem to of cleared up! :<> but i just wish they were all better. we're keeping them on fleece now that gets changed and washed thoroughly every other day. We wash it at 90degrees and give it a prewash. I think it should kill all the bugs at that, but i spray them with lice repellant before going in the wash, leave it for ten minutes, then wash it with a tiny bit of the lice shampoo and washing powder, then i put it through another wash with just hot water, then i put it in the tumble drier. HA LICE, THAT'LL KILL YOU ALL!
