...I wasn't exaggerating :)

IMG_4820.jpg

This is what is currently in a large north face duffel in the bus cargo. 20 cozies, 20 beds and four tunnels. About 20 more things are still at home in pieces, I just didn't have time to get all of it together...

All are going to the rescue and hopefully she'll raise lots of money from selling them! I hope the rescue lady will be excited!

(and yes, I have a fuchsia pink livingroom wall. It looks pretty cool with all my white furniture :) )

What a fanastic sight!
You have been very busy...well done.
I'm sure there will be alot of money raised! xxxxxxxx

Pressed thanks instead of reply! ha
They are lovely, I'm sure the rescue will be very excited. Well done you and your sewing machine. xx

Oh WOW - that is IMPRESSIVE!

I bet that there are a lot of rescues on this forum wishing you were not so far away in Sweden! ;)

Wow well done you! I bet the rescue will be very grateful and I'm sure they will raise lots of money from selling those.

My bedroom is also that colour. :))

They all look fabulous, you are very talented! I have a sewing machine now all I need is to find the right patterns!

Jeepers! That is some sewing you've done there, that must have been a very rewarding experience stacking it all up like that, all the time wiping the sweat off your brow! I'm sure it'll sell very well and make the rescue some much needed moola. :)

Woohoo! How cool is all that. I love the bright, sunny fabrics you've chosen too - very smile-inducing:)

I hope you're proud of yourself as I'm sure the rescue will be thrilled with your handiwork.

Well done you :rose

They look really fabulous and made me think i need to get a move on with my cozy making enterprise! Well done you I think you and your machine may be in need of a holiday :))

You are really brilliant, doing all that work for a rescue. I hope they all sell and I hope they stimulate extra 'giving' to that rescue when people find out how much work you've done for them! Well done you!

Wow thats amazing - how long did it take you to do them all?! I don't know one end of a sewing machine from another!

It took ages... It's a little hard to know how long each thing took because I made it in stages, a bunch at a time. My entire flat looked like a fleece sweat shop for two weeks :))

I just want to clarify that I got my sewing machine two months ago and up until then I belonged to the crowd that thinks staples and masking tape are good ways of hemming trousers... If I can make a cozy then ANYONE can make a cozy.

There were a number of "fails"... about ten, I guess (including one where I accidentally sewed the opening shut...just to give you an idea of my amateurness) but piggies are grateful little critters that will be very kind in their critique!

finally found it..GUINEA PIG PARADISE x)x)x)x) all the beautiful colors.. and of course the fuchsia pink wall ..:)):))

GOOD JOB! the rescue is DEFINITELY going to be very happy!

Wow! Very inspiring...especially with so little machine sewing experience. I'm sure the rescue will be absolutely over the moon.

Sewing machines scare the hell out of me (so many twizzly fiddly bits and they go sooooo fast and out of control!) but maybe I should give machine sewing another try.....if I can get results even half as good as yours I'll be very happy indeedy! :)

Hehe :))

They are all lovely! Hope you saved some for your piggies too!

The rescue lady was really excited and we sold two right then and there to people who were at the rescue!

They are priced at 8,50 so these 40 odd items will hopefully raise around 350£ :)

Congratulations! Well done you I bet it will really help with feeding all those hungry piggies!
