I have a busy weekend so wanted to rush home from work to get the piggies cleaned out tonight ready for while I’m away.
My Partner decided to help me out and make a start before I got home so I didn’t have so much to do tonight.
Here is what I came home to in the piggie room 🤣🤣🤣 Just a slight mess ..
I am of course very thankful for him, I was very grateful that I only had one cage left to do.. and just a little bit of tidying up :))

I like to go away for a few days whenever I can to see my daughter. I change the cages before I go and am back within 5 days so I can change them again. The last twice I've been my partner has 'helpfully' done the fleece changes for me to save me doing it on my return. The house has been full of stray hay in every nock and cranny, the dirty fleece is piled up in the greenhouse and shed so there's hay everywhere there too. It takes me a week to clean up after him but I daren't say anything and upset him, he looks after the piggies so well while I'm away and I really enjoy the time with my daughter. I still haven't got all the hay out of the coals in the gas fire, we never use it but I think I may have to put it on the burn the hay off.

I've got quite a few of those t-shirts too with the clearing up amounting to twice the work than if I had done everything myself.

Including the one with the cotton towels laid on top of the fleeces... Hub was soo tickled with himself! :bye:

I get asked if I wouldn't want help with the cage occasionally and I always have to be like no, thank you for the offer but even if it takes me longer to do it solo I know whatever carnage I've left in my wake is my own fault, lol.

Well at least the piggies cages are clean. 😳🤣🤣🤣

I'll have you know it's not "all" men, some of us ex military men are used to cleaning spaces to a very high standard through fear of being bounced by the Regimental Sergeant Major and marched at double time to the guard room to be jailed! 😱😱😱

You're welcome to come around to my place any time.
Mind you, it would take some time.
