I've had Edie for about 5 weeks now and I haven't bathed her yet but brush her fur about every other day but I haven't bathed her yet. I don't know when to bathe her? She's my first longhair guinea-pig, she is about 1 year old and she's a lighthair sheltie or sheltie x (not totally sure)
Here she is:

Also when should I cut her hair?

Sorry don't know the answer but just wanted to say how beautiful she is. :))

If her fur feels clean and smells nice then there's no need to bathe her. But if it feels greasy and leaves your hand feeling kinda dirty (like if you pet a dog, that's a bit dirty) or if she smells a bit, then you could bathe her. If she is a year old then there'd be no problem with that. Just make sure she's 100% dry after and cuddle her on your lap inside for a while before putting her back outside if she lives outside, so she doesn't get cold. :)

You can trim her if her hair starts dragging off the ground and getting dirty, or if it gets dirty around her tummy and bum then you can just trim that bit. Or if you think she's too hot, or you just want to trim it. :)

Edie really is beautiful. I think that you will know when she is ready to be bathed as she will become smelly. I *think* that a long haired pig should be bathed and trimmed when the fur starts to get mattered in with faeces and urine although if you brush her regularly, this shouldn't be much of a problem. Also, if you think that she is quite hot then you could trim her :)
