Hello,

I separated my boy, Elliot from his two pals after seeing he had scabby fungal on his nose area.

After a week of canestan and sudocrem the scabs are gone, his skin doesn't look flared up now and his fur his growing back.

He is missing his pals. He is mostly fine (in a pen right next to them) but tends to bite on bars every now and then and goes mad if he sees they're playing out without him. Other than that he's fine, eating all his favourite foods and being as vocal as ever.

His cage ages are missing him though, I can tell.

So...when is the best time to put Elliot back? The boys don't particularly touch each other or snuggle but use each other's bowls etc. I clean them out every 2 days.

Am I right in thinking one of them also has fungal at the moment? As they are in the same room they will already have been exposed to the fungal spores and so I would put them back together, You will need to bond on neutral territory though and also treat any further symptoms in any of the pigs that occur.

Hello Helen thanks for your reply. Oscar has just got over fungal. His fur has grown back and he is looking devishly handsome. Elliot will be so pleased to be reunited with his little pals!
