I was wondering when you should take piggies in to the vet? The reasons?

My piggies are about 3 days old (In my house they are actually a few months old)

They are barley eating there pellets they nibble that's it. 2 people told me to just provide the hay and fruit/veggies they seem to enjoy these things. It's odd because they never had this stuff till I got them. The pellets are the same as they where before. When should i take them To the vet because of this?

Also I notice my long haired piggy breathes really hard when I look at her? Is this normal? I know it's not hot because the room is 65-70 and there not In the sun.

You can take them to the vet for a MOT, if only for peace of mind and getting them on the books - the change of home is always a stressful time and more likely to bring out illness because of the lowered immune system.

Don't worry about the pellets - not with so much more exciting new food around! Just make sure that you include one high vitamin C veg every day. Most of the food intake (up to 80%) should be hay, anyway. Piggies can live healthy long lives without any pellets - many do in Germany for example!
