This is the cage a pair of boars were living in..I picked them up this morning and had trouble breathing on the way home due to the urine:(
To give an idea of size popped pigs back in to take this pic

They are now on clean bedding and will be looking for a home where their new owner cleans them out regularly.
They are two boars and due to smell and lack of room in their old cage I have named them
Shuffle and Scratch
(Shuffle on left and excuse blur..wrong camera setting!)

that is disgusting people like that shouldnt be allowed petspow-powgrrrrglad you have took them in hope they find a forever home soon.

Oh my god, I worry if I don'ty clean my girls out every other day. That's DISGAUSTING! It doesn't look like they've ever been cleaned out. I'm so angered and upset for these cute little guys. Their previous tormenter (I will NOT call them an owner) doesn't know how lucky he or she was to have them. :)>>>:)>>>:a19::a19:8...8...pow-powgrrrr

In a cage soooo small for them, could've even been days! Poor things, glad they are safe with you now.... :)

That's so sad :( Poor, poor piggies

I would say it's been around a month or longer since they were cleaned out - they don't get that dirty in even 2 weeks. (then again, it is a tiny cage...)

That's horrible! Over a month we would say. Both Peter and I were upset to see this. It only takes 10 minutes to clean a cage. How could they be left?

The white self is gorgeous, looks like my himi. I hope they get a loving home soon!

I don't know what to say!grrrr Some people beggar belief! So glad you have got these two young men now, I'm sure they are really enjoying their new fresh, sweet smelling bedding. Good luck finding them their forever homes.:)

oh poor piggies! I'm glad they're clean and safe with you now.
Thats has to be at least a month that it hasnt been cleaned out....how awful.
I could never do that to an animal.

That's awful. Poor piggies. Well done for rescuing them :)

That is the most awfull living conditions those poor piggies made me cry. Thankgoodness they are in safe hands now. Like someone else said it takes only ten to fifteen minutes to clean out a cage. The smell must of been dreadfull:)>>> If I have piggies indoors they get cleaned out every other day.

Oh good GRIEF!!:o I have only just seen this! Those pics actually made my eyes tear up.....How could anyone possibly keep those poor piggies like that?!? mallethead mallethead :0 :0 :0 People make me SO angry! They are SO gorgeous....they deserve SO much better. Thank goodness you have them now, Jill. :) :)

poor piggies

:0 this made me sooooooo angry, would love to make those people sit in there own urine for that long and see how they like it.
so glad that there safe with you now and hope they find a loving home soon x>>

that is appalling, how could someone do that to an animal.

so glad you got them now and are safe! cute piggys!

How dirty was that cage? And how small also? :{
Well done to you for taking them in and looking after them ... and keeping them all nice and clean!

Yes, how long does it take to empty out a cage like that and clean + spray it and then put in clean bedding ... well hardly any time at all.

Bless them!

OMG that is digusting and theres just no excuse for it, it takes me 20-30mins to do a full clean and my cage is huge and I'm forever brushing the fleece!

Poor pigs I hope they are both doing well and won't be affected too much x

poor liitle piggies so glad you have taken them in. My 2 get cleaned out twicwe a day with a full hutch strip out & wash every Sunday

That was so gross! That's pretty disgutsing and unfair to make piggies live in a condition like that. I have gone a week without doing a full cleaning out of piggie cages, BUT I do a little clean out every 2-3 days. Poor piggies! I feel bad when I don't do mine every few days because at times i'm too bust but I would never, ever let it get like that!

awww those poor piggies, must have been ages since they where last cleaned8... the cage is so small aswell:0

Well done taking them atleast there in bettr place:)
