where did you get your guinea pigs?

Sooty and Sweep are pet shop pigs - and boy do I regret that - as a baby Sweep had a lot of issues, and was undersized for a long time (not that you'd believe it now!)

I rescued Sweet William and Rose from RSPCA Leybourne, and would always choose to rescue over pet shops now. That said, Bumble is a pet shop pig, bought by a friend's husband for her daugter without consultation. It was either me or the RSPCA, so I rehomed her.

I'd really like to rescue another boar, and check out the rescue websites frequently, but I live with my parents, who have said 'no more'. We'll see...

I rescued my two, But have got piggies from pet shops before. I will probably mainly just rescue now, because you feel so good that you have rescued a little piggie. xx

My boys are from a breeder although I did actually find them on preloved, I didn't set out to get them from a breeder, I know this is frowned upon but I fell in love with them on the ad and couldn't not have them. :)

Both my original two boys came from Pets at Home, they had brilliant personalities and were so cute, but Fred died age 2 and Barney died this January. I've heard it's common for petshop pigs to not live that long, they're often interbred-

My other two little piggies came from a breeder

2 are rescues
1 was found at a bus stop
1 from p@H adoption
and 3 are babies from the pig found at the bus stop!
