Where do you put hay?

Mine have two hay racks

in a hay rack in some cages and just on the floor of the others

I give mine great big piles of it, they like hiding in there ;D

i put it in my boys hayrack, which usually ends up on the floor and them sitting on it, and my girl have a hay rack and they have it in their house at night to bed in as they live in the out-house so its much colder at night

I did have hayracks, but they ignored them and just ate the hay that was their cage dressing! ;D

They get so happy when I dump a big pile in their cage - popcorning and squeaking! :smitten:

? Do you mean the trays underneath? If so it's shredded paper O0

i put it in the hay rack and on the floor, they prefer to eat it from the floor though.

Mine don't mind eating it from the hayracks lol I did put it on the floor but I was constantly changing it cos I can't stand seeing poop and pee on something they're gunna eat bleughh xx0

Mine have got hay racks - i used to put it on the floor but then one of my pigs kept 'Popcorning' through it and got hay stuck in his eye : Silly pig! So it's up on the wall now.

I cover 1/2 the cage floor in normal meadow ahy and tehy ahve ahay rack for excel forage or timity hay

I voted 'other' - I put mine in their sleepy areas, they've got a dog bed so some goes in there, then some in the bedroom parts of the hutches and some in their sticky shelters.

I put hay everywhere mine love to hide in hay.

I put hay in a little box and scattered around and then in a rack!

Mine have Hanging Hay Balls.
They also have a large pile of Timothy Hay or Excel Herbage each evening.

I have hay in their racks & then i throw it on top of the short cropped straw on the floor

I put timothy hay in their hay racks and meadow hay in a big pile in half their cage, I also stuff a paper bag with hay
