Where To Find A Decent Vet

How would I go about finding a decent guinea pig vet in my area? Does anyone know of any sites that list some?
It's just that after taking Milly to my local vets yesterday I've realised I've come away £22.50 down without even really knowing what's wrong. Also a check up next week which will cost me more money. Maybe I should have asked more questions but surely the vet should have offered up answers as well instead just giving her antibiotics.

or if you know of any rescues in your area ask them who they use. I emailed honeybunnies on here as they are very local to me and they recommended the vet that I now go to who are amazing! I've seen 3-4 different vets there and each one of them really knew their stuff on guinea pigs
 
i rang round a few id heard of/had been recomended on here and asked them some questions about experience and succes rates etc then chose one i was happy with
