Hi guys,
Nice to meet you all. Just wondered where I could get a vitamin B complex for one of my boys? (Has a mild impaction problem) ... Can you find some at petsathome or online? Any links would be awesome.
Thanks!
Steve.

No sorry I don't. I vaguely remember it being mentioned in a post a while back - try the search function?

I was told to give Vitamin B12 many years ago by a non guinea pig specialised vet. It was for a pig that was in general poor health. Unfortunately he had so much going on with him that I couldn't say whether it worked or not, but it definitely didn't harm him

You can get them from a supermarket.

Guinea Lynx :: Nutritional Supplements

It sounds grim but you offer any impaction to the pig, they usually eat a bit of it, and so get any necessary vitamins and nutrients from it :vom:

Thanks for all your help. Really appreciate it. When you say the vitamins are available in the supermarket do you mean guinea pig or human tablets? Not used any before so slightly concerned about dosage/suitability.

@BandOfBrothers Human ones. I don't believe there are ones available that have the correct dose for a piggy. If you ask them vet to help, they can give you the correct dose.
