I'm having a struggle where to put my piggies so I can clean them out.

They live in an outdoor hutch. They can't go in the outdoor run as the grass is wet. I used to put them in a box on the patio but now it's too wet to do that either.

I could put them in the utility room (no radiator so cooler than the rest of the house) but they have learned to jump out of their indoor run and I obviously can't be inside supervising them if I'm outside cleaning the hutch. I can't buy another run as I've spent far too much money on them recently and I'm broke.

I really don't know what to do with them now! If I could trust the children to supervise them it'd be OK but the older child helps with the cleaning and the younger one is 4 so can't be trusted not to wander off and leave them.

Can't you put them in their carrier? They could stay outside with you in it if you stuff it with hay O0

They don't have a carrier, I've never taken them anywhere so there didn't seem any need to get one.

The other idea sounds good though, I might try that :)

I am really pleased with my own ingenuity!

I found an old bath towel that I spilt hair dye on :embarassed: and stretched it out on the patio, then used the outside run on the patio. It wasn't really wet today luckily so it worked a treat.

I left them out for an hour to run and they had a lovely time. I'll definitely try that again!
